In 1997 he founded Promecap, a leading private equity firm in Mexico that manages assets of MX 5,000 million dollars, of which he is President and CEO. Prior to this, he served for over 20 years at Grupo ALFA. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Administration Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. Additionally, he completed an Executive Business Management program at IPADE. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM).
